Claro and Striker7.1 support
optical and coaxial output simultaneously. You can use this feature
just like a signal converter.
S/PDIF
optical output from external device like CD player, PS series, XBOX series or
DVD Player can be linked to Claro or Striker7.1 optical input. You can
bring out that signal from coaxial output of the card. The optical output
simultaneously sends out the signal as well. It is very useful if there is
only coaxial input available in AV receiver.(no optical input)
CLARO :
1. Check S/PDIF in
on PCI3D Audio Configuration >> Mixer
2. Check Optical (S/PDIF in #2) on
S/PDIF in option
NOTE: Do not activate
"Monitor"
3. Check S/PDIF output to S/PDIF in
Loopback on PCI 3D Audio Configuration >> Main Setting
Striker7.1:
1. Check S/PDIF in on PCI3D Audio
Configuration >> Mixer
2. Check Optical
(S/PDIF in #2) on S/PDIF in option
NOTE: Do
not activate "Monitor S/PDIF in to Analog Output;
3. Check S/PDIF output to S/PDIF in
Loopback on PCI 3D Audio Configuration >> Main Setting
Now signal going into optical input
comes out thru coaxial output. And same sound signal comes out from the
optical output simultaneously
